He pulls down that he may build up He uproots that that he may plant He takes away the first that he may establish the second He removes one and establishes another He wounds that he may heal He has torn that he may bind us up The […]
The Lord Jesus spoke many things in parables, some things seem very harsh. For instance in Matt 24 He said that the evil servant will be cut in two. I was meditating on this passage this morning. Here it is. Mat 24:36 “Concerning that day and exact hour, […]
Somewhere deep inside the Christian mind(not the mind of Christ)is the notion that our heart is desperately wicked–I want to tell you dear friend, brother or sister that is simply NOT TRUE!! Is that how you see yourself? I thought that too about myself. If you call your […]
Why did Jesus go to the Cross? I came to my Father this morning in prayer and what did He say? Son I have naught against thee. It is thee that is against thyself Not Me, but thee! If we do not have a revelation of the totality […]
And he said to him, “Every man at the beginning sets out the good wine, and when the guests have well drunk, then the inferior. You have kept the good wine until now!” Jesus of Nazareth This miracle Jesus and Father did together, we are told, is the […]
Allow me to give a few comments on this passage in light of the New Creation realities which God has worked in us through Jesus’ death and resurrection. Mar 8:31 And He began to teach them that the Son of Man must suffer many things, and be rejected […]
In a recent blog post I wrote a few statements that may seem crazy to most Christians. Let me explain some things about me. When I write I do not pre-think what I am going to write. The words come and I type. Very rarely do I delete […]
The Old Covenant was inadequate and never designed to last. It depended upon the efforts of the human to measure up to God’s standard. That is absurd!! It is a farcical covenant that mocks any attempt at keeping it. But those who try to keep it do not […]
We know that without FAITH it is impossible to please God- Heb 11:6 Also that anything that is not from faith is sin. (Rom 14:23) Thus it is established that to please God we must walk in faith. If on the other hand we attempt to be pleasing […]
There were two trees in the garden of Eden that presented a choice to our first parents. The tree of Life and the Tree of the knowledge of good and evil. God clearly spoke about NOT eating from the latter tree. Death would be the result of feeding […]
It may sound very noble to say that you want to be a better person, and that is usually what we think being a Christian is all about when we first start out on this journey. When I first came to Jesus I was in the midst of […]
The thing that I have come to believe about all this–which is really the heart of the New Covenant we are in…is that we are not forgiven sinners now. We are new creatures in Christ. That old man has been crucified with Him and has been buried with […]
Yom Kippur begins tonight at sundown 18th Sept. In the days between Rosh Hashana- Jewish new year and Yom Kippur- observant Jews spend time repenting of their sins. These days are known as the days of Awe. This introspection is meant to bring a sense of awe and […]
My Humanity is God REVEALED!!! Hallelujah!! Gal 2:19 For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto God. Gal 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now […]
There has been a change of Covenant between God and man which is not based upon our ability to obey His laws but upon His promise. When we start being badgered into whether or not we are holy or whether or not we are being obedient to God […]
The people of the world will tell you that being a good person is all that is needed. They may even quote Jesus and say, “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you” and you shall surely be okay with God—right? Who needs to be […]
I do not mean to incite a brother or a sister to sin I ask the question to expose the truth which I hope will help those who are stuck in sinful patterns. I write to born again Christians, those who love the Lord Jesus and have received […]
I notice that Israelis are comparing Pres. Donald Trump with King Cyrus saying that Trump’s declaration of Jerusalem being the capital of the world is the same as Cyrus’ calling to restore Jerusalem. One such Israeli group has minted a silver coin to commemorate Trump’s declaration on Jerusalem which […]
Whenever I turn on the Christian radio I hear preachers exhorting the flock of God to try harder to be pleasing to God. They make a big deal about the responsibility being all ours. Whether it is to do with a thing called “the call of God” or […]
I don’t know whether preachers still point at people and tell them they are “in the flesh” these days as I have not set foot in a church service for over 7 years now. But back then and for a long time before that it was common to […]
We know that Jesus was/is the grain of wheat that fell into the ground. He died and was buried in the ground. When He was raised up, it was so that He would live all those who believe in Him into life. We have believed in Jesus–the One […]
I see that my brethren still preach half verses and this only keeps the blinders on. Let me give an example. I don’t know how many times I have had brethren throw half verses at me to convict me as guilty. Here is one of them. “It is […]
Surrendering to God is a very prevalent idea amongst Christians. It can bring an exasperating feeling. When you think you have given up things for God’s sake and given away things as well, costly things, and still you hear a voice saying you need to surrender to God. […]
This post delves into the exchange God wrought when Jesus took you and me into Himself giving His own self story to us as our own self story if we are willing to receive it. Gal 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, […]
So many Christian brethren are confused about whether we are under the law or not. The BIBLE is very clear about the answer. “For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.” Rom 6:14 Immediately many readers will recognise […]
Listening to grace preachers has made me realise that they are leaving their sheep in Adam under a covering they call grace. They talk about God giving us grace that covers all our sin and shame and our past. The congregations sing these same ideas in worshipful ways […]
Jesus is the Word proceeding from the Father. He did not just speak words from God, but He IS THE WORD coming from God. When Jesus the Word made flesh spoke it was the Father speaking…yet it was Jesus, for they are a perfect union of two people. […]
One of the most amazing things that the Apostle Paul taught is the New Creation. When Jesus went into the garden of Gethsemane to drink the Father’s cup, Isaiah’s words were being fulfilled. Here is just a portion of Isaiah…the whole chapter is relevant. Isa 53:4 Surely He […]
The Apostle Paul preached Christ crucified. What does that mean? 1Co 1:23 but we preach Christ crucified, to the Jews a stumbling block and to the Greeks foolishness, 1Co 1:24 but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom […]
Exo 1:11 And they put over them slavemasters in order to afflict them with their burdens. Maybe it is a little presumptuous of me, but what is happening to me, I believe is prophetic of what is happening to many in God’s camp. The people of Israel had […]
The blind only see what they want to see The deaf only hear what they want to hear The hungry man eats but is not satisfied The wealthy never have enough Naked women rule the minds of millions But Money mocks God and says, “I am Queen!” Grasping […]
This is just a quick little blog about the Life that we have in us. The Life that we have received is the Life of Jesus the Messiah. His Life is not something separate from Himself. He is The Life. If we have Jesus we have life, if […]
a brother asked about the difference between our death in Christ and how it affects our soul-mind, and also our body.
The same brother asked another question – here is it is and my response. Thank you Dennis, for your mail. I read it several times and experienced it as fresh water on dry soil. I think many of the Christians around me want to see a stronger interaction […]
A wonderful brother from Europe asked a question of me back on the 6th May which I feel was done to stir our mutual faith up…Here is his question in italics and then my response. The past few months I begin to experience that I become older and […]
It may seem like some sort of new age teaching to many who read my writings. Such is the revolution in the revelation given to Paul the Apostle. The natural man does not receive the things of the spirit for they are spiritually discerned. When Christ Jesus came […]
Help someone else today not because you heard a voice say to do it, but because you want to do it. This is normal Christian living. Jesus comes to live in us and to be us in all we do. You decide whether to let your light shine, […]
After making God’s case against sin and sinners in the first three chapters of Romans, Paul begins to explain the marvelous, wonderful truth of the death, resurrection and ascension of Jesus Christ and how it saves us. I myself am nothing and know nothing of these things other […]
faith in Jesus gives us permanent abiding peace which may not be felt yet nevertheless it is real.
The Old man that you were before coming to Jesus lived under the Law of God. The Law stirs up sin and the result is condemnation and death. That is why the Old man was crucified in Christ. That Old man can never serve God in the new covenant. The difference is like night and day.
We used to have a defiled heart, but now our heart is pure- it is a matter of faith.
We can make the simple choice to believe His word right here at this point. IN the midst of raging emotions and contrary circumstances you can simply stand on His promise stated clearly right here in Ephesians 2 and DECLARE OUT LOUD that I am brought near to God right now despite what my eyes, ears and emotions are telling me.
God is full of paradoxes, don’t you love Him? The first shall be last and the Last shall be first is one such paradox that He seems to love.
Rejoice for He is risen and you are risen in Him. Together you are seated in Victory having had your heart turned away from the flesh and now beholding the Lord Who is the Spirit dwelling with your spirit.
For those who have felt the paralysing effect shame has upon the soul I offer this post. The son of Jonathan was Mephibosheth the grandson of King Saul who had tried for years to kill David. Mephibosheth means ‘Dispeller of Shame’. Not only does this boy’s name cover him […]
