Den Rhodes

a son of the most high...a servant of all....the least of you...a branch in the vine....a temple of Life....a warrior of Light....a hearer....a seer....a friend....always being renewed....faithful. A lover of Mankind, willing to speak the truth to all. No respecter of persons.
Bottom line for me is that you dear one are my brother or my sister--you have been created by God in His image and whether you realise it or not, God loves you and has reconciled you to Himself through the death and burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
You will see and accept this great gift to you one day.
Those who think they are great shall be brought low
Those who are low shall be exalted
God shall do this and does indeed do it.
Beware if you live in a nation that thinks of itself as GREAT for you and your whole nation shall be brought VERY LOW.
Beware if you live in a nation that trusts in man-made weapons of war and makes human power it's strength.
That nation shall be brought down to the dust of humiliation.
Also
Beware if you are one that seeks to destroy the innocent-those who have done you no wrong. You shall not getaway with it--for there is One who knows all that you have done.
In the Resurrection soon to come, you shall be made to serve those you have wronged in this age.
You see I am set by God over the nations and over the kingdoms, To root out and to pull down, To destroy and to throw down, To build and to plant. (Jer1:10)
You come to against us with your weapons of destruction always seeking to control and to dominate the innocent in the land--those whom God is not judging.
I say to you--BEWARE --for the LORD knows those who are His and He shall repay into your bosom what you have done to His children.
REPENT of this your wickedness---RECEIVE JESUS CHRIST into your heart this day--right now.

The Battle of Faith

Something very important in this struggle we all go through is that we live by faith not by sight. And like God we call those things that are not as if they are. Rom 4. If we look at our selves through carnal eyes we do not see […]

Some encouragement

Here are some quick words on different topics to encourage Will God forgive me? The Good News is that on the Cross Jesus took all your sins and died under their penalty so that you should not have to. You are forgiven …not because God decides whether He […]

Flee the Hell god

How do you know that what you have been told about God is true? The Bible you say…..Okay, yes I agree–the Bible tells us a lot about God. But what if the translation team got some things wrong which has slanted our view of things? Only a tiny […]

Time is not eternity

Time is not anything to do with eternity. We hear people say things in conversation like, ” It seems to be taking an eternity” or  “It’s been an eternity since we won the final” or a surfer might say he was, “held under the water for an eternity” […]

White hats vs Black hats

Many are excited that the white hats are taking down the black hats in the so called Deep State. Yet may I remind people mankind’s problems started when our natural father ate from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Good and Evil—or—White hats and Black […]

Those who are perishing

When I looked into his eyes I saw the horror and despair of a life full of pain. He sat there in his grubby clothes, stained from urine and snot from a runny nose. His eyes were yellowed where they should have been white and they were weeping […]

The last day of the Feast

Monday 1st October –tomorrow, is the 8th or last day of the Feast of Tabernacles which is the Third great Feast instituted by God in the Old Testament. It is the day on which Jesus stood up in the Temple and cried out in a loud voice “If […]

A Dry Tree

How many times have you been in the place of dryness and cried to the Lord over your own barrenness? There are seasons in God or in life where it seems that we are a dry tree producing no fruit….that all we are good for is the fire. […]

Yom Kippur approaches

Yom Kippur begins tonight at sundown 18th Sept. In the days between Rosh Hashana- Jewish new year and Yom Kippur- observant Jews spend time repenting of their sins. These days are known as the days of Awe. This introspection is meant to bring a sense of awe and […]

The true vine

When Jesus declared Himself to be the TRUE vine he was contrasting Himself with the FALSE vine. Joh 15:1  “I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser.    The Vineyard of the Lord Destroyed Isa 5:1  Now let me sing to my Well-beloved A song […]

A coal from the fire

Our God is a CONSUMING FIRE and what do you think He consumes? Flesh. All that is a stumbling stone to us His fire –He Himself–consumes so that it is gone from us. When Jesus was offered up as a sacrifice for our sin it was in fulfillment […]

Outer versus Inner

Most Christians are familiar with the story of God sending Samuel to anoint one of Jesse’s sons as the next king of Israel. The old prophet went to Bethlehem and one by one Jesse, the proud father of 8 sons, paraded 7 of them before Samuel’s eyes. And […]

Have you sold all?

For all those brethren who claim that we must keep the Law of God and obey Jesus let me ask you if you have obeyed Jesus commandment to “sell all you have and give to the poor”? Luke 18:22 NKJV So when Jesus heard these things, He said […]

Poor and needy

Psalm 40:17 NKJV But I am poor and needy; Yet the LORD thinks upon me. You are my help and my deliverer; Blessed are the poor in spirit for theirs is the kingdom of God. The self righteous person excludes himself from the help/grace of God. Everyone is […]

BABY BURNERS BEWARE!!!!

“For Topheth has long been ready, Indeed, it has been prepared for the king. He has made it deep and large, A pyre of fire with plenty of wood; The breath of the Lord, like a torrent of brimstone, sets it afire.” Isaiah 30:33 This weekend God Himself […]

Rebellious forever and ever or not?

I believe in the inspired Word of God in the original languages but that does not mean the interpreters got everything right when they did their English versions. The following passage highlights the WRONG interpretation of ‘olam olam’ as forever and ever. Isaiah 30:8,9NKJV “Now go, write it […]

I create Jerusalem

Further to what I posted yesterday:– When the prophetic word rises in my heart like happened last night it is to encourage the saints…and for someone who has not been in a church service for 10 years I am very encouraged that He still encourages others through me. […]

Flee the false god

There is a false god that has captured the hearts of millions of Christians and it isn’t money. It is a god that punishes sin even though all sins have been forgiven. It is a god that is impossible to please no matter what you do. It is […]

God dug an open pit

Under the Law if a man digs a pit and does not cover it to make it safe, and an ox falls into it and is injured or dies that man must “make it good.” In other words that man is responsible to restore what he caused to […]

Climate control

An annoying thing about Mercedes Benz cars from the late 80’s is that the Climate Control is constantly on…all the time!! The Engine control unit monitors the ambient temperature in the cabin and outside the cabin and commands the climate control to heat or cool the environment accordingly. […]

Kingdom of heaven

This is not a long post–just a comment really–a statement maybe. I hear a lot of talk about what it will be like in heaven. The thinking is that heaven is a place where we shall all go to one day. Yet have we considered that all of […]

All the lost shall be found

Reading Luke chapter 15 fills us with hope, what a wonderful Saviour is Jesus who never stops searching for the lost sheep UNTIL He finds them and carries them on his shoulders all the way home to the Father. 4 “What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if […]

Don’t be entangled again

There has been a change of Covenant between God and man which is not based upon our ability to obey His laws but upon His promise. When we start being badgered into whether or not we are holy or whether or not we are being obedient to God […]

A STONE FELL OUT OF THE WALL

An interesting event happened on Monday in Jerusalem, Israel. A 79 year old Jewish woman was praying at her customary position against the southern section of the Western Wall of the remains of the Second Temple. At exactly 546 PM a large limestone block 8 metres above her […]

Jesus my Wonderful Saviour

Maybe I am being a bit silly writing this, but you know what I don’t really care what anyone thinks. You see, I am a man. I work in a trucking yard with other men…manly men. Yet Jesus is real in me and He also is a manly […]

The Rainbow Promise

Gen 9:13 I set My rainbow in the cloud, and it shall be for the sign of the covenant between Me and the earth. When the Son shines through falling rain a colourful rainbow appears reminding us that it is the sign of the covenant God made with […]

Sin Gospel is no Gospel

Under the Old Covenant sin separated people from God, under the New Covenant sinners HAVE BEEN reconciled to God. Christians run around trying to get people to feel guilty for their many sins…but  God has ALREADY FORGIVEN the sins of the whole world through the atoning sacrifice of […]

Does many mean all?

It is amazing how the blinkers blind us from what the Bible clearly says. When we have preconceived ideas about God’s Salvation we have already decided how many people are going to be saved. Yet Scripture clearly tells us that Jesus is the Savior of all men, yes, […]

Being God to others

The other day I was about to reach for the door handle at my work place when it opened abruptly and one of the other truck drivers got a fright when he saw me standing there unexpectedly. He actually blurted out a blasphemy: “Jesus!”Then he said, ” Yeah, […]

How will anything change?

At 4am sitting on my forklift and my truck driver co worker is telling me how bad the world is. Truck drivers spend a lot of time thinking whilst they do long hours on the highway. I said that I hoped it would change eventually to which he […]

The end of an age

I get the sense that we are in between two ages–the outward church age and the inward age of Tabernacles. For two thousand years the church in her immaturity has tried very hard to be like Jesus. But that time is coming to end. I believe that I […]

In Hell Forever

Jesus died on the cross and went to Hell forever according to the thinking of the majority of my brothers and sisters. Let me slap you around the side of the head a bit.  🙂 Jesus used the story of Jonah being in the belly of the great […]
